Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen

How it all began…

Waaaayy back in 1984, the Transformers became a popular toy line which featured little vehicles that could transform into Robots. Back in the eighties the catch-phrase for Transformers was “Robots in disguise.” They were made in Japan yet marketed world-wide by the American toy Giant, Hasbro. These were small-ish die-cast toys which only had a few maneuvers. They’d transform into a vehicle, then back again.

The early Transformers were known as Autobots, including the massively popular ruler of that tribe, Optimus Prime – and Decepticons, led by the ruling robot Megatron.

The launch of the toys was accompanied by a television cartoon series and a comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The top selling toys have been produced continuously since 1984. Later examples became more and more complicated to convert. In 1986 Fortress Maximus was released that was two feet tall and could be transformed into a whole city.

In 2007, the first live-action movie was released and the story’s popularity and toy line has done nothing but increase.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – The Movie
One of the most awaited movies of the year packs even more adventure,more Autoobots and more evil Decepticons. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Decepticon forces return to Earth with the goal of taking Sam Witwicky prisoner. Joining the mission is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle.

The Transformers – The Movie
This is the release of the Transformers animated motion picture in celebration of it’s 20th anniversary as well as a prelude to the release of the Transformers Live action motion picture that will be released in 2007.

This is a 2 disc release which features 3-versions of the feature film, commentary tracks and interviews, and a sneak peak at the live-action movie. Original commercials for the toy line and movie are in the disks as well.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Helmets

Never has role-playing been so fun. At least for Transformers Movie 2: Revenge of the Fallen fans. Totally fun for both kids and adults, the Optimus Prime or Bumblebee helmets not only look impressive, they sound impressive as well. Both helmets are painstakingly detailed and look so good, Transformers collectors could stick them on a shelf as decor.
