Leapfrog’s My Pals Scout and Violet

November 25, 2009

What it is: Leapfrog was right on the money when they created these customizable talking pups My Pal Violet and My Pal Scout. These super dogs have single-handedly expanded my 2yo Jack’s vocabulary to include things like edamame, alpaca and Bibimbap … which incidentally, I didn’t even know existed until college.

The good news for the tech challenged is it takes less than 5 minutes to personalize. All you have to do is connect the puppy to your computer (they give you a USB cable) then follow the screen prompts to enter in your little one’s name, choose favorite colors, foods and animals and wallah – you have at least 30 minutes of free time (nice!) to get stuff done while your genius sings along on diddys like this…
