My Pal Scout – Review

November 21, 2009

order-my-pal-scoutMy Pal Scout proves you can introduce tech at a really young age. This reasonably priced plush green and white dog plays music, plays games, and even says “I love you” in a voice that sounds like a little kid.

Scout comes with its own USB cable so you can plug Scout into your computer and download your choice of songs and words from the LeapFrog website. You can even pick a name from the website so this toy will say your child’s name when it says “hi” or “I love you”. Or use your sweetheart’s name and save it for Valentines.

Different features are triggered by squeezing a paw – such as lullabies, sing-along songs, or interactive games. A feature that makes Scout stand out from other toys with tech built-in is that this one is truly plush. You have to squeeze pretty hard to feel the plastic battery case inside.
